Wahpeton, IA — One public beach in the Iowa Great Lakes has been deemed unfit for swimming in the weekly update from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. The DNR says there was a high level of E-Coli bacteria at Emmerson Bay Recreational area on West Lake Okoboji during the most recent test. Swimming is not recommended for humans OR pets.
