Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Some individuals have seen cameras attached to the traffic lights along Grand Avenue in Spencer and have wondered if Big Brother is watching.
City Manager Kevin Robinson says the cameras help regulate traffic flow and are NOT license-plate readers known as “Flock Cameras.”
Police Chief Mark Warburton tells KICD News he has seen the video himself and could not make out the numbers on license plates.
The devices are called “Flock Cameras” because that’s the name brand
