No Injuries Reported in Palo Alto County Accident

Palo Alto County, IA — A Graettinger man was cited following a two-vehicle property damage accident on July 14th in the 4200 block of 280th Street.

According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Bryant Lee Johnson, 37, of Graettinger, was backing a 2026 Western Star truck at the intersection of 280th Street and 420th Avenue when it struck a 2017 Chevrolet Trax driven by Mandi Lynn Clabaugh, 48, of Estherville, which was stopped behind the truck.

No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000 to the Chevrolet Trax and $100 to the truck.

Johnson was cited for unsafe backing on a highway and given a future court date.
