ESTHERVILLE, IA (Northwestiowanow) – The South 1st Street Resurfacing Project in Estherville, originally scheduled for this week, has been postponed.

City officials announced that work will now begin on Monday, September 8, instead of the previously projected start date. The project will impact South 1st Street between 1st Avenue South and Highway 4 South, which will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the resurfacing. However, residents and businesses along the route will still have access.

Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by October 10.
