Okoboji, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — It was the Dickinson County Conservation Department’s turn to host the annual Northwest Iowa REAP assembly Wednesday night. Michelle Wilson coordinates the grant program for the Iowa DNR.

Representatives from all over the KICD Broadcast area attended to show support for the program, which is set to sunset in two years.

Iowa’s Resource Enhancement and Protection program was established in 1989. Local projects funded with REAP funds include The Little Sioux River Traill, additions to Oneota Park in Spencer, and the new Nature Playscape in Okoboji.
