Sherburn, MN (Northwestiowanow.com) — There’s no way of knowing who bought a lottery ticket worth ONE MILLION DOLLARS in Sherburn, Minnesota until the winner comes forward, but it very well could be a local.

The ticket for the October 25th drawing had the numbers 2, 12, 22, 39, and 67; the powerball of 15; and the power play option doubled the half a million dollar prize.

The winning ticket must be redeemed at the Minnesota Lottery headquarters within one year. The store where it was sold – Casey’s – gets 5 thousand dollars.

The Iowa Lottery also participates in the national Powerball.
