Spencer, IA — Today’s Severe Weather Awareness Week topic is tornadoes.

Sioux Falls National Weather Service Warning Coordination Meteorologist Peter Rodgers provides more details on today’s topic and explains where you should go immediately when a tornado warning is issued.

The National Weather Service is staffed 24 hours a day to monitor weather conditions and issue warnings when severe weather threatens.

Tomorrow, as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, the focus will be Preparedness.
