Waterloo, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Spencer Girls Swim Team attended the Waterloo United Titan Invitational on Saturday.

The Tigers team of Emerson Wittrock, Halle Sears, Aubrey Paterson, and Ava Vogt combined for a time of 1:53.74 which would’ve been a meet record if not for Waterloo United’s time of 1:53.52, putting the Titans in 1st and Spencer 2nd.

Halle Sears would set a meet record in the 200y Free with a time of 1:58.49.

In the 200y Individual Medley, Spencer’s Paterson would finish 2nd with a time of 2:24.08 with teammate Jade Henson finishing 5th at 2:36.17.

For the 50y Free, Spencer’s Maisy Schmidt was 4th at 27.63.

Sears picked up another win in the 100y Fly with a time of 59.88 seconds.  Taking 4th was Paterson at 1:06.68.

Vogt came back in the pool to finish 5th in the 100y Free with a time of 58.83 seconds.

Spencer took 1st in the 200y Free with a time of 1:45.27, made up of a team that included Sears, Wittrock, Paterson, and Vogt.

Wittrock won the 100y Back with a time of 1:02.78.

In the 100y Breaststroke, Spencer’s Jade Henson swam a time of 1:18.26 to take 4th with teammate Ainsley Grimm in 5th at 1:19.24.

The Tigers took 3rd in the 400y Free with Wittrock, Vogt, Anna Quanbeck, and Maisy Schmidt swimming a time of 4:07.72.

For the Team Scores, Waterloo United won with 500 points, Decorah was 2nd with 477, and Spencer took 3rd with 455 out of the 7 competing teams.
