Storm Lake, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — The Storm Lake Public Library is preparing for a busy season with its “Plant a Seed, Read” theme. The schedule is packed with Tuesday morning sessions for younger children that focus on farm-to-table agriculture and the environment. Additionally, the library is tying in national history by offering lessons on George Washington and Betsy Ross to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence.

The program also features the return of the Summer Reading BINGO challenge, which runs from June 1st through August 1st and offers prizes for those who complete their cards. Families are encouraged to pick up a physical schedule for their fridge and watch for the full June calendar to be released soon.
