Spirit Lake Police Receive Report of an Imposter

Northwestiowanow.com) — The Spirit Lake Police Department received the report of someone inpersonating an officer this week. Allegedly a male driving a newer-model Chevy Tahoe with a police logo on the fender approached a child on a dirt bike. Police Chief Shane Brevik says talk to you children about strangers and NOT telling them their name or other personal informaiton. If you see this individual or spot similar activity you’re asked to contact police immediately.
