Spencer’s Timmer Chooses Northwestern Track and Field

Spencer, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Spencer’s Dylan Timmer will be competing in Track and Field at the next level after inking with the NAIA’s Northwestern College.

Jumpers and Hurdlers coach for the Red Raiders, Tim Vander Ploeg, was impressed with Timmers accomplishments in athletics after having to come back from injury.

Timmer is yet to pick an area of study but looks forward to the Northwestern Campus Lifestyle.

Vander Ploeg talked about the comradery amongst the Red Raider Athletic Department members.

Spencer Boys Track and Field Coach Wilson Hookfin looked back on Timmer’s career with the Tigers.

Timmer enjoyed a lot of moments while at Spencer but hitting the Podium at the State Track and Field meet sticks out the most to him.
