Algona, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Only two days after winning an Invite in Fort Dodge, the Spencer Girls Swim Team was back in action on Monday on the road against Algona.

Spencer’s team of Emerson Wittrock, Halle Sears, Aubrey Paterson, and Aubrey McFarland swam a time of 1:58.96 in the 200y Medley Relay, winning the event.

Lauren Stuckey won the 200y Free with a time of 2:21.58.  The Tigers took the top 3 spots in that race.

Emerson Wittrock won the 200y Individual Medley with a time of 2:31.77.  Wittrock competes in a lot of events during duals and invites.  Wittrock talked about her goals this season.

Aubrey Paterson won the 50y Free for the Tigers with a time of 26.35 seconds.  Sprint work in practice has paid dividends for Paterson up to this point in the year.

Halle Sears picked up the win in the 100y Fly with a time of 1:01 flat.  Sears didn’t have the times she would’ve liked on Monday, but looks forward to recovering from a busy couple of days.

Spencer’s Ava Vogt took 1st in the 100y Free with a time of 1:00.05.  This was the 2nd event where Spencer took the top 3 spots for Varsity.

Tensley Cronin won the 500y Free for the Tigers with a time of 6:17.27.

Spencer’s team of McFarland, Vogt, Schmidt, and Jade Henson won the 200y Free Relay with a time of 1:50.64.

Wittrock picked up another win in the 100y Backstroke with a time of 1:03.36.  Aubrey McFarland, who took 2nd in that event where the Tigers took the top 3 spots, hopes to qualify for State.

Halle Sears also got a 2nd win in the 100y Breaststroke, clocking 1:20.98.

Spencer capped off the night with the 400y Free Relay team of Sears, Wittrock, McFarland, and Paterson winning with a time of 4:00.53.

Spencer rolled to the Dual win 134-36.
