Reported Runaway Leads to Harboring Charges for Juvenile Male

Storm Lake, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — A 14-year-old girl reported missing on December 10th was found unharmed two days later, leading to charges against a 13-year-old male. Storm Lake Police located the teen at a home on Hudson Street on the evening of December 12th. Investigators allege the 13-year-old resident lied to police to help hide the girl. He has been charged with Harboring a Runaway, an aggravated misdemeanor, and was transported to the Cherokee Youth Emergency Services Center.
