Estherville, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Estherville Lincoln Central hosted the 52nd ELC Girls Invitational and the 104th Dick Barrett Relays on Friday.

Marissa Nielsen was the winner in the Girls Long Jump for North Union with a mark of 14’10.75”.

Spirit Lake’s Kyson Jalas took 1st in the Boys Long Jump at 19’5.75”.

In the Girls High Jump, Melanie Chanthapangna of Storm Lake won the three-way tiebreaker at 5’00” via attempts.

For the Boys High Jump, Grady Frideres of Estherville Lincoln Central took 1st with a leap of 6’00”.

McKenna Beck of Spirit Lake was the winner in the Girls Discuss with a throw of 110’7”.

Spirit Lake’s Caden Hickerson was the winner in the Boys Discus with a distance of 102’10”.

In the Boys Shot Put, Jackson Knutson of Spirit Lake got the win with a toss of 47’7.5”.

For the Girls 800m Sprint Medley Relay, Sioux Central’s team of Waldstein, Johnson, Ayers, and Wilson put together a 1st place time of 1:56.32.

Estherville Lincoln Central were the winners in the Boys 800m Sprint Medley Relay with a team of Ponce-Diaz, Richard, Dewitt, and Smith going 1:36.67.

Sage Weber of Sioux Central won the Girls 3000m Run with a time of 10:53.95.

In the Boys 3200m Run, Spirit Lake’s Wylee Conway won with a time of 11:08.42.

For the Girls 4x800m Relay, Sioux Central’s team of Bloom, Christian, Madsen, and Weber won with a time of 11:19.68.

Estherville Lincoln Central’s Boys 4x800m Relay team won with a time of 9:01.99.  Runners’ names weren’t listed in results.

Hough, Anderson, Hough, and Hansen combined for a time of 1:11.89, giving GTRA 1st place in the 4x100m Shuttle Hurdle Relay.

In the Boys 4x110m Shuttle Hurdle Relay, Spirit Lake’s Nebelsick, Polenychko, Jalas, and Coates were together for a 1st place time of 1:10.3.

For the Boys 100m Dash, Kenny Ness of GTRA was the winner with a time of 11.5 seconds.

Sioux Central’s team of Joenks, Madsen, Christian, and Bloom won the Girls 1600m Distance Medley Relay with a time of 4:32.13.

Martin, Ahrens, Yager, and Struve combined for a time of 3:49.04 for Estherville Lincoln Central to win the Boys 1600m Distance Medley Relay.

In the Boys 400m Dash, Garrett Smith of Estherville Lincoln Central won with a time of 51.13 seconds.

For the Boys 4x200m Relay, Estherville Lincoln Central ran a 1st place time of 1:35.39 with a team of Richard, Yager, Ponce-Diaz, and Dewitt.

Caitlyn Hough of GTRA won the Girls 100m Hurdles with a time of 16.87 seconds.

Estherville Lincoln Central’s Blaize Ahrens took 1st in the Boys 110m Hurdles with a time of 16.92.

In the Girls 800m run, Ella Beck of Spirit Lake won with a time of 2:28.39.

For the Boys 800m Run, Spirit Lake’s Nick Frangenberg won with a time of 2:08.72.

Garrett Smith of Estherville Lincoln Central won the Boys 200m Dash with a time of 23.03.

Sioux Central’s Marley Madsen took 1st in the Girls 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:08.32.

In the Boys 400m Hurdles, Blaize Ahrens of Estherville Lincoln Central won with a time of 1:02.83.

For the Girls 1500m Run, Sioux Central’s Sage Weber took 1st with a time of 5:02.79.

Jackson Struve of Estherville Lincoln Central was the winner in the Boys 1600m Run with a time of 4:57.34.

Estherville Lincoln Central’s team of Dewitt, Smith, Yager, and Richard combined for a 1st place time of 45.26 in the Boys 4x100m Relay.

In the Girls 4x400m Relay, Sioux Central won with a team of Bloom, Christian, Weber, and Madsen combining for a time of 4:18.82.

For the Boys 4x400m Relay, Iwen, Sorenson, Hough, and Manwarren ran a time of 3:42.78 for GTRA to take 1st.
