Orange City, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Tiptoe to Orange City this for the 85th annual Orange City Tulip Festival May 14 through the 16th.

Chairperson Jennifer Droog offers advice for anyone who hasn’t been to the tulip festival before.

There are two parades each day, the first at 2:15 and another at 6:00 pm

Center to the celebration is Orange City’s thriving Dutch heritage.

The Orange City Tulip Festival began in 1936. Tulips are timed to bloom in mid-May, and Droog confirms some tulip beds are still vibrant across the community.
