Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow) — Democratic candidate John Norwood stopped by the Clay County Fair while campaigning for Iowa State Treasurer.

One of Norwood’s priorities is making Iowa’s money work harder within the state, including keeping more taxpayer money circulating through Iowa banks and credit unions.

Norwood says he has traveled more than 25,000 miles so far, listening to Iowans throughout the state.

He describes himself as a “bridge builder” and says he favors a pragmatic approach to managing state finances.

Norwood will face incumbent Republican Roby Smith in the November 3rd general election.
