Newell-Fonda Girls Claim Raider Relays

Sac City, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Newell-Fonda, St. Mary’s of Storm Lake, and West Bend-Mallard attended East Sac County’s Raider Relays on Saturday in Sac City.

Allie Fehr of West Bend-Mallard won the Girls High Jump with a leap of 4’8”.

Ellie Sievers of Newell-Fonda picked up a silver in the Girls Long Jump with a mark of 16’5.75”.

Newell-Fonda’s Girls 800m Sprint Medley Relay team of Erickson, Sievers, Hamilton, and Vie ran a time of 2:08.29 to finish 1st.

The Newell-Fonda Boys 800m Sprint Medley Relay team of Tauber, Hogrefe, Baron, and Greenfield also won with a time of 1:46.06.

In the Girls 4x800m Relay, Newell-Fonda’s team of Brabec, Hogrefe, Meyer, and Sievers won with a time of 10:54.74.

West Bend-Mallard’s Maddie Fehr finished 2nd with a time of 13.8.

For the Girls 1600m Distance Medley Relay, Newell-Fonda’s team of Hamilton, Vie, Hogrefe, and Brabec went 4:46.33 for a first-place finish.

Newell-Fonda’s Boys 1600m Distance Medley Relay team of Lindgren, Kaufman, Mercer, and Lockrem was 3rd with a time of 4:31.88.

Quinn Sievers of Newell-Fonda won the Girls 400m Dash with a time of 1:03.43.

In the Girls 4x200m Relay, Newell-Fonda’s team of Hamilton, Erickson, Sievers, and Vie won with a time of 1:59.09.

For the Boys 4x200m Relay, the Newell-Fonda team of Greenfield, Baron, Bellcock, and Hogrefe was 3rd at 1:40.2.

Allie Fehr of West Bend-Mallard was 2nd in the Girls 100m Hurdles with a time of 19.2.

Newell-Fonda’s Danika Meyer won the Girls 800m Run with a time of 2:50.36 with Isabelle Landgraf of St. Mary’s of Storm Lake taking 3rd at 2:59.54.

In the Girls 200m Dash, Payton Akridge of West Bend-Mallard took 1st with a time of 29.32 seconds.

For the Boys 200m Dash, St. Mary’s of Storm Lake’s Nicolas Calvo was 2nd at 24.38 seconds.

Allie Fehr of West Bend-Mallard took 2nd in the Girls 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:14.28 and Ava Vie of Newell-Fonda was 3rd at 1:17.71.

Mareni Brabec of Newell-Fonda collected the Gold in the Girls 1500m Run with a time of 5:25.3, followed by her teammate Quinn Sievers in 2nd at 5:35.03.

Newell-Fonda’s Jack Olsen was 2nd at 5:06.01 in the Boys 1600m Run.

West Bend-Mallard’s Girls 4x100m Relay team of Akridge, Frerk, Crawmer, and Fehr won with a time of 56.89.

In the Girls 4x400m Relay, Newell-Fonda’s team of Sievers, Hamilton, Erickson, and Hogrefe won with a time of 4:42.81.
