SPENCER, IA (northwestiowanow.com) – A vital healthcare service has returned to Spencer following the June flood and the closure of Crown Clinics. Priority Health Northwest, founded by former Crown Clinics providers Peyton Hantelman and Jay Downing, is now open at 1800 Norris Place and will hold an open house tomorrow. from 2-5 pm

The clinic was created to address the community’s healthcare needs after the flood. Jay Downing, ARNP, discussed identifying this need and getting started around last August.

Establishing the new clinic since last fall involved significant work. Downing shared insights into the challenges they overcame.

Priority Health Northwest aims to provide dedicated care, with many familiar faces on staff. An open house is scheduled for tomorrow, marking a key milestone. Downing explained its importance.

The clinic is located at 1800 Norris Place and is focused on providing comprehensive family healthcare to the Spencer area.
