Lake Park, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Lake Park Fire Department was dispatched to the Northeast corner of town Tuesday morning. Fire Chief Brandon Ehret says one of the collections of storage sheds and mancaves in the vicinity of Avenue an East and East 9th Street had an interior fire that was called in by a motorist around 8:40.

The Milford and Spirit Lake fire departments were called as backups. Ehret says the fire appears to have been electrical.

The fire crew was on the scene for about an hour and a half. The Lake Park Police, street department, and rescue units were on the scene, along with the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department and Dickinson County Emergency Management.
