Iowa Lakeside Laboratory Says It Helps Having “Friends”

Wahpeton, Iowa (NorthwestiowaNow.com) The Friends of Lakeside Lab is gearing up for its primary annual fundraiser this Sunday, June 14th. Newly appointed director Kami Grothous says the event directly impacts the facility’s upcoming summer programming.

Lakeside lab Executive Director Mary Skopec notes that private community donations fill critical gaps that traditional state funding does not cover.

The fundraiser event this Sunday, June 14 features catered dinner and gives attendees a direct opportunity to supply resources for incoming students.
