Iowa Lakes Announces New Nursing Transfer Partnership

EMMETSBURG, IA (Northwestiowanow) – Iowa Lakes Community College has announced a new nursing partnership with Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota.

Tammy Shimon, Dean of Health Education at Iowa Lakes, says the partnership builds on the college’s strong nursing foundation while giving students a clear path forward.

 

 

Shimon says the partnership has been in development for over a year, with both institutions working together to ensure a smooth transfer process.

 

 

Shimon says the program will benefit the health care workforce in northwest Iowa.

 

 

Iowa Lakes has a nearly 60-year history of nursing education, and its programs are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
