Spencer, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Spencer Boys Soccer team hosted Sioux Center in Northwest Iowa Soccer League play on Monday at the Northwest Iowa Soccer Field in Spencer.

The Tigers capitalized on an early opportunity in the 4th minute with Camden Mosher hitting a Penalty Kick Try.

On a Sioux Center Corner Kick, Spencer was able to put together a great counterattack, leading to a Cayden Brewer Goal on the other end in the Matches 16th Minute.

The Tigers extended that lead to 3 in the 38th minute with some more nice ball movement ending in a Keegan Musser Goal.

A short handed back line for Spencer was terrific throughout the matches 80 minutes, holding the warriors to limited shots and helping the Tigers to the 3-0 win with a clean sheet.

Spencer improves to 3-2-1 on the year and remain atop the NWISL with a 3-0-1 League record. up next for the Tigers is a road trip to Sioux City where they will play West High in Non-league play.

Sioux Center absorbs their first loss on the young season, dropping to 3-1-2 and 1-1-1 in the NWISL. They will take on MOC-Floyd Valley in League play on Thursday in Orange City.
