Arnolds Park, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — An Okoboji neighborhood was evacuated Friday morning when there was a gas leak on Lakeshore Drive near the O’Farrell Sister’s restaurant.

Arnolds Park / Okoboji Fire Chief Chris Youngbluth says a gas meter was damaged when a house being demolished collapsed on it.

Black Hills Energy was called to the scene. The situation took longer than normal as they had to dig up part of the street to gain access to the line.
