SPENCER, IA (Northwestiowanow) – Congressman Randy Feenstra and State Representative Megan Jones visited with Spencer High School students Friday to hear a presentation on the district’s No Boundaries program.

As part of his gubernatorial campaign Friday February 27, Feenstra took time to come to Spencer Community Schools and sit down for a student-led presentation on the No Boundaries program. The initiative connects juniors and seniors with businesses and organizations across the community through hands-on, project-based learning. Students demonstrated how they manage real-world projects, communicate with partners, and build skills that prepare them for future careers.

Feenstra listened to the entire presentation before offering his reaction.

Feenstra emphasized that programs like No Boundaries offer students job-ready experience and could play a key role in developing Iowa’s future workforce.

He says the skills students learn from the program will serve them well after graduation.

Feenstra closed the visit by encouraging students to stay connected to their hometowns and continue engaging in their community as they prepare for life after school.
