Emmetsburg, IA (northwestiowanow) — An Emmetsburg woman faces additional burglary and theft charges while already being held on drug-related charges.

Officers with the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Nicole Lee Juchem September 14 on two warrants out of Palo Alto County. The warrants charged Juchem with second-offense possession of methamphetamine, an aggravated misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.

She was unable to post a $2,300 cash-only bond and was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail.

While in custody, Juchem was served with three additional arrest warrants September 22nd.

The new charges include third-degree burglary, a Class D felony; third-degree burglary of an unoccupied motor vehicle, an aggravated misdemeanor; and fifth-degree theft, a simple misdemeanor.

The warrants carry a combined cash-only bond of $7,200. She remains jailed in Palo Alto County after being unable to post bond.

The Sheriff’s Office did not provide details on the circumstances surrounding the alleged burglary and theft offenses.
