Emmetsburg, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Emmetsburg hosted the E-Hawks XC Invitational at the Iowa Lakes Disc-Golf Course on Tuesday.
Bishop Garrigan of Algona’s Julia Swift won the Girls Race with a time of 20:17.3. In 3rd was Olivia Maske of Pocahontas Area with a time of 21:15.3. Taking 4th from GTRA was Addaley Girres, crossing the line in 21:26.2. Sibley-Ocheyedan’s top runner was Aleah Marco with a 6th place time of 21:46.3. Her teammate Paisley Kreykes ran 22:17.5 to finish 8th. Kamryn Hough of GTRA would take 9th at 22:18.7 and Estherville Lincoln Central’s Hayden Armstead finished 10th with a time of 22:31.3.
In the Girls Team Scores, Sibley-Ocheyedan took 1st with 47 points, 2nd was Manson-Northwest Webster with 80, and St. Edmond of Fort Dodge took 3rd with 82 points. Emmetsburg was 4th, Pocahontas Area 6th, and Estherville Lincoln Central took 7th.
For the Boys Race, Ben Cox of Emmetsburg won with a time of 17:28.6. Emmetsburg’s Elijah Cox was 7th at 18:57.2 and Estherville Lincoln Central’s Hunter Hurst was 9th at 19:14.3.
The Team Title went to Manson-Northwest Webster with 56, North Iowa took 2nd at 58, and St. Edmond of Fort Dodge was 3rd, scoring 76 points. Estherville Lincoln Central was 4th, Emmetsburg 5th, and Harris-Lake Park took 7th.
