Storm Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Storm Lake Police and Fire Departments responded to an accident involving an SUV and a garbage truck Monday morning. One driver had to be extricated, was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Storm Lake and transferred to a hospital in Sioux Falls.
The Iowa State Patrol, Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Department, Storm Lake Public Works Department, medical professionals and several bystanders assisted.
The accident ocurred in the Southeast corner of town at the Expansion Boulevard and Radio Road intersection.
