Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Iowa DNR contacted KICD News yesterday to confirm rumors that a mountain lion has been spotted.

Biologist Vince Evelsizer says the best advice is to leave the animal alone

The DNR will not give the exact location of the mountain lion to protect it from hunters. They only say it has been sited “East of Sioux City.”
