ARNOLD’S PARK, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) – Life360-Okoboji Church is inviting the community this weekend to its annual holiday gathering.

On Sunday, December 21, the “Don’t Be Home Alone for Christmas” event will be hosted at Founders Hall on the Okoboji Bible Conference grounds. The free event begins at 6:00 PM and will feature a warm meal of chili or chicken noodle soup, cinnamon rolls, and potluck desserts, followed by fellowship, Christmas trivia, and caroling.

Lead Pastor Rev. Brian Kelly says the goal is to provide a welcoming space for anyone who might otherwise be spending the holiday alone.

Kelly says although this is only the event’s second year, the church hopes it can become a lasting tradition.

While the event is free, donations are welcome, but never required.

The church will also host a special Christmas Eve service on December 24 at 5:00 PM in the same building, featuring music, prayer, and a short devotion.
