Spencer, IA (northwestiowanow) — Spencer Hospital is getting ready to host its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk this weekend.
Spencer Hospital Women’s Health Coordinator K.C. Kidd was this week’s guest on the Clay County Health Update.
Kidd says the walk provides an opportunity to celebrate everyone fighting breast cancer and those who have overcome it.
Participants are encouraged to wear pink, with prizes planned for some of the best pink outfits.
The Breast Cancer Awareness Walk begins at 1 p.m. Sunday, October 4th, at Grand Avenue Park in front of Spencer Hospital. Participation is free and open to everyone.
