City of Spencer Orders Vehicles Out of Downtown Ahead of Snow Pickup

SPENCER, IA (Northwestiowanow) — The City of Spencer is preparing for overnight snow removal in the Downtown Commercial District.

Officials issued the notice Monday morning, December 29, at 10:55 a.m.

Crews will begin clearing snow at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, and all vehicles must be out of the downtown area by midnight tonight.

Property owners are reminded that sidewalk snow should be placed no less than 18 inches and not more than 36 inches into the street, measured from the face of the curb.
