Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Sunday June 7th was National Cancer Survivors Day, and on the Clay County Health Update this weekend, Kristy Connor with Abben Cancer said each cancer survivors’ story is different, but they all need support.

With recent data confirming the alarming cancer rates across the state, Connor said a new non-profit will be assisting cancer patients in Clay County.

Connor hopes we all remember to take a moment to reach out this month.
