SPENCER, IA — Spencer Mayor Steve Bomgaars stopped by the KICD Broadcast Center for his last official interview this week. He said as a councilman, and then as Mayor – he always tried to be “forward looking”.

We asked Bomgaars – who leaves office December 31st – what advice he has for future leaders.

Spoken like a true student of history. Bomgaars and his wife Marty intend to travel, and then he anticipates volunteering again in the community in some capacity.
