Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — There’s a little more food on the shelf at Upper Des Moines’s food bank in Spencer thanks to the Clay County Farm Bureau.

Regional Director Troy Leinginer says the annual Grocery Grab is a highlight for them.

This year’s contest was between UDMO director Teri Chinn, and More 104.9 morning co-host T.J. Johnson.

Chinn says Upper Des Moines Opportunity Center ALWAYS accepts cash donations. The best items to donate are canned soups, cereal, ramen noodles. and tuna and hamburger helper.
