Spencer, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Spencer Girls Wrestling Team is coming off of a 9th place finish at last year’s Class 2A State Tournament and bring forth a pretty young roster to the 2025-2026 season.
That’s Coach Dave Storm. Kyiah Logan is striving for the podium this year and she is happy with what some of the young wrestlers have brought to the room in the early practices.
Bailey Schuster also hopes to achieve a podium finish at the State Tournament this year after just missing placing in 2025.
There are a few new additions to the Tigers schedule, including the Belle of the Border competition in St. James, Minnesota. That along with some bigger Tournaments are where Coach Storm says the Tigers roster will be the most tested.
Spencer opens up the season on November 18th at home against Lincoln of Council Bluffs, Denison-Schleswig, and Ridge View in a dual meet.
