Sioux Center, IA (KICD)– A young child has died from injuries sustained in a weekend accident in Sioux County.
Emergency crews were called to private property four miles southwest of Sioux Center just before six o’clock Saturday evening where it was determined the 30-year-old driver of an SUV had stopped to unhook a trailer hitting the 20 month old as he began to drive away.
The child was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
