Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– A Storm Lake woman has been charged after multiple animals were found living in unsanitary conditions.

The Storm Lake Police Department executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Russel Street earlier this month and reportedly found nine dogs and eleven cats with various health issues living in the home with animal waste being found throughout the structure.

As a result, a warrant was issued for 53-year-old Angela Andrade. She was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with 11 counts of animal neglect, including one count with injury and one with serious injury.
