Des Moines, IA (Radio Iowa) — The State of Iowa is designing a new website to inform residents about new and emerging drugs, both legal and illegal, many of which can be deadly.

Drug Control Policy Director Dale Woolery says the information will be very useful to people in the health care industry and law enforcement.

One of the featured drugs is an animal tranquilizer known as Xylazine.

The list of substances covered on the website include vaping, fentanyl and highly potent marijuana products.
