Spencer Tiger’s Baseball Making First State Appearance in More Than Two Decades

Spencer, Ia (KICD) – The community of Spencer today will be transfixed by the Class 3a State Baseball Quarterfinals today. It’s the Spencer Tiger’s first trip to state since 1999. Brian Dirkx is the head coach this time around, he was the assistant coach 24 years ago.

KICD Sports Director Steve Cutler – the voice of the Tigers – is in Iowa City to call the game. Our Pregame coverage begins at 11 on News radio 102.4 and AM 1240 KICD. The Tigers play the North Polk Comets.
