Spencer Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Charge

Sioux City, IA (KICD)– A Spencer man has pled guilty to possessing child pornography in federal court.

At a plea hearing held on Friday, 41-year-old Leighton Jones admitted to being in possession of materials involving a child under the age of twelve.

Jones faces up 20 years in prison and a quarter million dollar fine. He will remain in the custody of the United States Marshals until sentencing which will take place at a later date.
