Sioux City Man Charged Following Kossuth County Pursuit

Whittemore, IA (KICD)– A Sioux City man has been charged after allegedly leading Kossuth County authorities on a pursuit Monday night.

The chase started when the Algona Police Department attempted to stop 49-year-old Ronald Moore around 7:30, but Moore is said to have fled leading to the 20-minute chase that ended with a collision with two police vehicles near Whittemore.

Moore was taken to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. He was ultimately charged with felony eluding, interference with official acts, failure to comply with police orders, driving while suspended, reckless driving and multiple traffic violations.
