Emmetsburg, IA (KICD)– Progress is continuing to be seen on the building site next to the Palo Alto County Courthouse that will soon become the new jail and Sheriff’s Office.

John Hansen from Midwest Construction Consultants tells KICD News much of the major construction is starting to wrap up at the site despite some delays being seen just a few months ago.

Hansen adds that as of right now the project appears to be progressing on schedule.

The new building is expected to be move-in ready later this fall with the full jail facility operational in December.
