Arnolds Park, IA (KICD)– The iconic Queen II Excursion Boat that travels West Lake Okoboji will undergo some extensive repairs this winter to ensure its operation can continue well into the future.

Throughout this last summer the vessel has faced numerous mechanical challenges that hindered its ability to provide the unforgettable experiences it is known.

The restoration process will begin on Tuesday when the Queen II will be carefully pulled out of the water with the repairs then taking place on the beach of Arnolds Park Amusement Park.

The work is expected to be completed in time for next summer which will then allow tourists and locals to once again embark on unforgettable journeys aboard the beloved vessel.
