Arnolds Park, IA (KICD)– Locals and tourists of the Iowa Great Lakes Area now have another thing to do when visiting Historic Arnolds Park while also taking more of the property’s history.

Okoboji Tourism Director Rebecca Peters tells KICD News the newly revealed self-guided walking tour lets visitors take in some of the musical history of the park area while also showing how big of an impact music has played on local tourism.

Another key piece to making this two plus year project come to fruition is Tom Tourville who says the third and final stop on the tour takes patrons out to Preservation Plaza where many performers entertained crowds on the original Roof Garden stage.

The other two stops on the self-guided tour include special history displays of the Roof Garden inside the current facility and the Iowa Rock N Roll Music Association’s Museum. Brochures about each stop can found around the route with a digital option is also available for those wishing to use their electronic devices.
