Marshalltown, Ia (KICD) – The Spencer Tiger Swim team competed at the IGHSAU State Swim Meet Friday and Saturday in Marshalltown.

The 200 Yard Medley Relay team of Emily Quanbeck, Lilly Gross, Ella Kasperbauer, and Brooklyn Ferguson finished 23rd with a time of 1:55.37.

Ferguson finished 7th in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 24.58 seconds.

The 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team of Quanbeck, Kasperbauer, Gross, and Ferguson placed 29th with a time of 1:45.59.

Gross would finish 16th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:08.84.

The 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team of Quanbeck, Kamdyn Van Gelder, Gross, and Ferguson finished 29th with a time of 3:53.34.

The State Champion was Waukee with 381 points. The Tigers placed 25th as a team with 13 points.
