Sibley, Ia (KICD) – The Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals Volleyball team looks to improve on last year’s record, despite some major contributors graduating from the 2022 group.

That’s Sibley-Ocheyedan coach Ali Poeppe who saw a lot of good signs from her team over the summer and early season.

There is going to be some position changes, as well as some younger players stepping in to starting rolls in 2023.

Poeppe believes the Generals will be overlooked, and that will play to Sibley-Ocheyedan’s advantage.

Sibley-Ocheyedan opens up the season at the George-Little Rock Tournament on August 28th. For more discussion on area High School Sports, listen to the KICD Sports Beacon on KICDam.com under the Podcasts Page.
