Paullina, Ia (KICD) – South O’Brien Football will be looking for their 5th straight .500 or better regular season going in to 2023. Coach Mark Fuhrman is looking for his team to be fundamentally sound this fall.

It is an old-fashioned District this year for the Wolverines, where they will see a lot of schools from their War Eagle Conference.

Furhman has seen some good stuff this past offseason from the offense.

Defensively there is some depth coming back for the Wolverines.

South O’Brien will scrimmage MOC-Floyd Valley on August 18th before opening up the season on August 25th against Sioux Central. You will be able to hear that game with Matt Groenewold on Big Country 107.7. Big Country will also have the coverage for the Wolverines home game against Sibley-Ocheyedan on September 8th.
