Milford, Ia (KICD) – The Okoboji Pioneers Football team begins a new season with a new coaching staff. Nick Mulder will share Head Coaching duties with Eric Clouse. Clouse is from the area originally, and is exited to get back.

Clouse and Mulder will be looking to maximize the Pioneer’s athleticism.

Clouse talked about some of those athletes that will be standouts for Okoboji this year on the Gridiron.

Okoboji drew a tough District this season in 2A. Most of the teams in the district were part of 2A’s toughest group the last two seasons.

The Pioneers open up their season on September 1st against Pocahontas Area. For more Area High School Athletics discussion, listen to the KICD Sports Beacon, a podcast on KICDam.com.
